What we do · Fort Worth

Carpet

Carpet is the surface you feel before you see, and the part that does the quiet work is the part you never look at. Specify the cushion properly and power-stretch the installation, and a carpet stays flat and full for a decade.

The cushion earns its keep

Cushion density and thickness set how a carpet wears, how it feels underfoot and how well it holds its manufacturer warranty. We specify the cushion to the carpet and the traffic it will see, which is the single highest-return decision in the whole job.

Fiber sets the life you get

Nylon remains the most resilient choice and recovers beautifully from crushing in high-traffic areas. Modern PET fibers, once overlooked in favor of nylon, have become a leading choice for many homeowners — they balance softness, durability and stain resistance while supporting more eco-conscious manufacturing. Wool is the finest thing you can walk on. We match the fiber to the room and the household.

Power-stretched, so it stays flat

We power-stretch every installation. It takes longer and it is the difference between a carpet that lies flat for years and one that needs re-stretching. Stairs get the same attention — they are the most skill-intensive carpet work there is, and the most visible.

Questions

What people ask us about carpet

What is the best carpet for a busy house?
A solution-dyed nylon or a modern PET in a textured or cut-and-loop construction, over a firm high-density pad. Solution-dyed means the color runs right through the fiber, so it holds up beautifully to cleaning.
Can you carpet just the stairs?
Yes, and it is one of the highest-impact single projects in a house. Stairs can be done as a full runner or a bound runner over a hardwood tread, and the craft involved shows immediately.
How long does carpet take to install?
Most homes are a single day once the material arrives. The lead time is the carpet itself — typically one to three weeks from order, depending on the mill and the style.
